Bengals place first-round pick Ogbuehi on non-football injury list
The Cincinnati Bengals made a series of roster moves Tuesday to get down to the league-mandated maximum of 75 players.
First-round pick Cedric Ogbuehi will miss at least the first six games of the season after being placed on the reserve/non-football injury list. Ogbuehi, the 21st overall pick in the 2015 draft, is still recovering from the torn ACL he suffered in the Liberty Bowl, his final game at Texas A&M.
The Bengals also placed injury-plagued linebacker Sean Porter on the physically unable to perform list. Porter is also working his way back from a torn ACL suffered in New England last October.
Receiver Onterio McCalebb was waived with an injury designation, meaning if he clears waivers he will revert to the team's injured reserve list. The speedy McCalebb was converted from cornerback this offseason, but his best shot at playing for the Bengals may be as a returner.
