Blake Bortles offers absurd response to throwing multiple pick-sixes
Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars have seen better days.
Bortles has 15 interceptions on the year — right in line with his career rate of throwing a pick on three percent of his dropbacks —and two of those INTs have been returned for touchdowns in the past three weeks. When asked about those recent pick-sixes at practice this week, Bortles responded with what we can only hope was sarcasm:

"I've gotta be a better tackler." I just wanted to type that out to see how it looked on the page.
The answer? It looks absolutely absurd. Absolutely. Absurd. Again, there's a pretty solid chance Bortles had his tongue firmly planted in cheek here, but this isn't the time for jokes in Jacksonville — especially with coach Gus Bradley so firmly on the hot seat.
Either way, Bortles might have bigger concerns than pick-sixes this week in Houston, if the Jaguars' performance against the Texans last year is any indication:

My advice: Wear the camouflage hat under your helmet on Sunday, Bortles. That way, the defenders won't be able to see you or the passes you throw in their general direction. That's how camouflage works, right?
