Brandon Linder leaves Jaguars' practice with shoulder injury
An already depleted Jacksonville Jaguars offensive line may be even weaker this week after starting right guard Brandon Linder left Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury, according to the Florida Times-Union.
Per the team's official website, an update on Linder's status is expected Thursday. Head coach Gus Bradley said the second-year player was injured towards the end of practice.
The Jaguars played last week without starting left tackle Luke Joeckel, who missed the team's win over the Miami Dolphins with an ankle injury. Joeckel is day to day, with his status for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots uncertain.
Linder is coming off a solid effort against the Dolphins in which he limited Miami star Ndamukong Suh to a single tackle.
Second-year player Tyler Shatley, who has played in one career game, is listed as Linder's backup.
