Brett Favre told great story about Andy Reid
By Steve DelVecchio
Brett Favre and Andy Reid spent seven seasons together with the Green Bay Packers in the 1990s. Reid was an assistant coach when Favre won his only Super Bowl championship in 1997, and the two had plenty of success together.
When Favre was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame on Saturday night, he told a great - and somewhat offensive - story about Reid. It involved another Packers employee standing on Reid’s headset cord.

“So Andy gets his cord caught and he looks back, and it’s this heavy-set guy who’s standing on his cord,” Favre said. “And Andy says to him, ‘Hey! Get off the cord you fat ass!’ This is one of our guys, now. He looks at Andy and says, ‘Who are you calling a fat ass?”
Even longtime ESPN employees have made fat jokes about Reid, so I’m sure he wasn’t offended. Not to mention, cameras showed the now-Kansas City Chiefs coach laughing almost as hard as we laughed when we saw that GIF of him as the Kool-Aid man. It was all in good fun.
