Browns enter final day of NFL draft with 8 more picks
BEREA, Ohio (AP) They've gotten the quarterback out of the way, now the Browns can focus on other needs on the final day of the NFL draft.
Cleveland enters the fourth round with eight more selections as the club's new front office tries to improve a team that went 3-13 last season. The Browns, who traded out of the first round last week and a chance to take Carson Wentz, waited until the third round before selecting Southern Cal quarterback Cody Kessler with the No. 93 overall pick - one of four players taken Friday.
Kessler wasn't considered one of the top QBs in this year's class, but Browns coach Hue Jackson likes everything about him.
The Browns have made three trades so far and Sashi Brown, the club's vice president of football operations and his staff may not be done dealing.
