Browns' Joe Haden a surprise inactive against Chargers
The health of Browns cornerback Joe Haden apparently took a turn for the worst since he was listed as probable on Friday.
Haden did not dress for Sunday's game in San Diego due to the pair of injuries he suffered last week against Oakland. The Pro Bowl corner said he suffered a rib injury on the first play of the game last Sunday when he landed on receiver Amari Cooper's helmet. Head coach Mike Pettine revealed after the game that Haden also broke his finger last week, and that was the reason he was unable to play.

Haden said he would be able to play despite being a limited participant in practice throughout the week.
"I'm ready to go,'' Haden said Friday per Cleveland.com. "I'm going to be fine.''
Pierre Desir started in Haden's place while Justin Gilbert was also active for the second straight week. Fellow corner K'Waun Williams was out for the second straight week with a concussion.
