Bryce Petty reacts to being drafted by the Jets

Baylor star Bryce Petty was the first quarterback taken on day three of the NFL Draft, and he landed with the New York Jets. That should be a great situation for a quarterback who wants to play early.

Quarterback guru George Whitfield Jr. was with Petty on Saturday, and he recorded the moment that Petty received the phone call from new Jets head coach Todd Bowles.

Jets fans have to be happy with landing a prolific quarterback so late in the draft. Even as a fourth-rounder, there seems to be a good chance that Petty can push Geno Smith for the starting job.
