Buffalo Bills Blow Out Cleveland, Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

The Buffalo Bills running game was unstoppable today in a convincing 33-13 home victory over the Cleveland Browns.

After a devastating loss last week to the Steelers, the Buffalo Bills were back home against the winless Cleveland Browns. While the Bills’ playoff chances are very slim at this point, if they can win out and get some help, they still have a chance.

Buffalo was able to drive down the field on their first possession and score on a 21-yard field goal by Dan Carpenter. The score gave Buffalo a quick 3-0 lead. After the first score, the game quickly got out of hand. The Buffalo Bills did not want to be the first team to lose to the Browns and they came out firing on all cylinders.

LeSean McCoy had a banner day racking up 153 yards on the ground and two scores. Tight end Charles Clay had one of his most productive games of the season with 7 catches for 72 yards and a touchdown. The Bills defense stuffed the Browns all game long.

RG3 was not able to do anything today. Buffalo’s defense took Terrelle Pryor out of the game Buffalo’s defense took Terrelle Pryor out of the game completely.

Leading up to the game, analysts suggested that the Browns might have some success running the ball. The Buffalo Bills‘ defense had other ideas as they limited them to less than 100 yards rushing on the day.

Not all the news was good today. Sammy Watkins was basically a no show and had just one catch on the day.

With this win, the Bills kept their slim playoff hopes alive. If they can finish the season with a winning record, that would be a small step in the right direction.
