Chase Daniel is not happy with the Philadelphia Eagles
Chase Daniel is upset.
The Philadelphia Eagles signed Chase Daniel to be Sam Bradford‘s backup. Now that Bradford has been traded to the Minnesota Vikings, Daniel still won’t be getting an opportunity to start.
If healthy, the Eagles plan on starting prized rookie quarterback Carson Wentz against the Cleveland Browns in Week 1. According to Mike Garafolo, Daniel is not happy about that.
Told same as @caplannfl: It's the Carson Wentz show in Philly when he's healthy. Source says Chase Daniel not happy.

It’s easy to understand why Daniel would be upset. Every quarterback in the NFL wants to get an opportunity to start and the fact that the Eagles are choosing to go with a rookie, regardless of what they sacrificed to get him, is a punch in the gut for Daniel.
Unfortunately for Daniel, his performance this preseason likely wasn’t what the Eagles were hoping to see out of their top backup.
However, nothing is set in stone quite yet. Wentz hasn’t officially been named the starter for Week 1. If the Eagles do not believe Wentz is totally ready for a starting role, the job could temporarily (!) go to Daniel. Right now, though, all signs point to Wentz being the No. 1 guy against the Browns.
