Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler: 'I would like to play for' Jim Harbaugh
Jim Harbaugh has a new fan: Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.
After helping at one of Harbaugh's camps for high school quarterbacks in Ann Arbor last week, Cutler came away thoroughly impressed by the Michigan coach's peculiar methods, according to ESPN's Dan Murphy.
"I like him," Cutler told ESPN. "First time I've been around him. [He has] a lot of energy. He's out there. He's got his cleats on out there. He's a guy that I would like to play for."
In order to gauge raw athleticism, Harbaugh had his campers play dodgeball and field ground balls, according to ESPN. Cutler got a real kick out of it.
"I remember doing the camp circuit and doing these different things," Cutler said, via ESPN. "Coach Harbaugh is doing a great job, just a little bit different. He's got the baseball out there, I'm sure he's got some stuff in store. It keeps it interesting. You get to see what kind of athletes are out here, which is fun."
Harbaugh is known to be an eccentric player's coach. Unfortunately for his newest fan, its unlikely Cutler ever gets a chance to play for him.
