Chiefs' Houston questionable against Titans with knee injury

Published Dec. 16, 2016 4:54 p.m. ET

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Chiefs pass rusher Justin Houston is questionable for Sunday's game against Tennessee with soreness in his left knee, which he had surgically repaired in February.

Houston missed practice with an illness earlier in the week before missing Thursday's workout with the knee issue. He returned to the practice field Friday on a limited basis.

Cornerback Phillip Gaines did not practice this week and was ruled out with a knee injury that has caused him problems all season. Defensive lineman Kendall Reyes is also questionable with a wrist injury.

The Chiefs were already planning around the loss of linebacker Derrick Johnson, who ruptured his Achilles tendon in last week's win over the Raiders.
