Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: How to watch, listen to the game
The Cleveland Browns continue to look for their first win of the 2016 NFL season. Today they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here’s how to watch or listen to the game.
The Cleveland Browns are back at it today as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers at FirstEnergy Stadium.
The Browns have lost 22 of the past 25 meetings with the Steelers, although each of those three wins have come at home. And the Steelers come into the contest with a four-game losing streak. Not as dire as Cleveland’s 10-game streak to open the season, but certainly something for Browns fans looking for the first win of the season to hand their hat on.
The weather is expected to be rough for the first time this season, meaning that rookie quarterback Cody Kessler will get his first taste of running the offense on a late-season Cleveland afternoon.
“Obviously, the weather is a factor that you can’t control, but yeah stuff, I used to do in college – we tried different things, maybe get your hand cold before you throw or do something like that, but it is impossible to really simulate what the weather is going to be like,” Kessler said. “The wind, the snow, the rain, whatever it may be, it is difficult, but you just have to go in with the mindset of you can’t control it. You have to focus on what you control and that is if the wind is going, maybe drive the ball a little bit more, get a little better grip on the ball or do whatever you can to play through the factors.”
Surprisingly, the last Browns rookie quarterback to win his first start against the Steelers was Brandon Weeden, who led Cleveland to a 20-14 win in 2012. So that gives Kessler something to strive for.
