Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano may be staying put after agreeing to a four-year contract extension on Monday, but several of his assistants, including defensive coordinator Greg Manusky, are not.

On Wednesday, the Colts announced the dismissal of Manusky and five other assistant coaches.

Manusky spent four seasons as the defensive coordinator in Indianapolis, guiding a unit that finished 26th in total defense this season.

The Colts also parted ways with tight ends coach Alfredo Roberts, running backs coach Charlie Williams, safeties coach Roy Anderson, secondary coach Mike Gillhamer and strength and conditioning coach Roger Marandino.

“We are grateful for the contributions these coaches have made to the Colts during their time here,” Pagano said, via the Colts. “Obviously these days are never easy. We wish all of these men the best in their future endeavors.”

Manusky is the second coordinator the Colts have fired in the last two months. Indianapolis dismissed offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton after Week 8, replacing him with Rob Chudzinski.
