Colts have a chance for history against Texans on Thursday

The Indianapolis Colts can set a new NFL record by beating the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football in Week 5.
With a victory, the Colts will extend their winning streak against their divisional foes of the AFC South to 16 games—breaking the record set by the Miami Dolphins in 1972. Indianapolis tied Miami’s 15-game win streak over divisional foes by knocking off the Jacksonville Jaguars in overtime in Week 4.
According to Stampede Blue, the Colts have outscored their last 15 AFC South opponents by 207 points, which averages out to nearly a two-touchdown margin for every win.
However, the division might be catching up.
It took a furious rally from Andrew Luck and the Colts to knock off Tennessee by two points back in Week 3. Indianapolis scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to squeak past Marcus Mariota and the Titans.
Last week, the Jaguars missed two chances at game-winning field goals before Adam Vinatieri knocked home his kick in overtime.
The Texans represent the division’s last chance at avoiding history. Houston is returning home with a disappointing 1-3 record after getting routed by the Falcons in Week 4.
The Colts haven’t lost to an AFC South opponent since the Texans beat them in Houston on Dec. 16, 2012. The two teams square off again on Thursday night from NRG Stadium.
