Colts have last two unsigned draft picks
With Tuesday's signing of quarterback Marcus Mariota by the Tennessee Titans, just two picks from the 2014 NFL Draft remain unsigned. Both were taken by the Indianapolis Colts.
With the Colts set to report to training camp in early August, third-round picks D'Joun Smith and Henry Anderson have yet to agree to terms.
Smith, a cornerback from Florida Atlantic was taken with the 65th overall pick, while Anderson, a defensive end from Stanford, was taken 93rd.
Why has it taken so long to get the pair under contract? It's not exactly clear. As veteran Indianapolis sportswriter Mike Chappell mentioned, Colts general manager Ryan Grigson said recently that "language issues" in the contracts were holding things up.
Still, Chappell said there was "no chance" the duo miss any of training camp, since the current collective bargaining agreement gives rookies like Smith and Anderson little to negotiate.
With rookie slotting system, #colts D'Joun Smith due about $3.5M over 4 yrs with $800K SB, Henry Anderson $2.9M and $610K SB.

So, when the Colts report to Anderson University for camp Aug. 2, it's a safe bet the last two unsigned members of the 2014 draft class will be there.
