Cowboys' Brandon Weeden reminisces on meeting Roger Staubach

Dallas Cowboys backup quarterback Brandon Weeden received a special treat on Monday at AT&T Stadium. Several former players were in attendance for alumni night and Weeden had the opportunity to meet with one of the all time greats, Mr. Roger Staubach.

This wasn't the first time Weeden had the opportunity to shake hands with one of his idols. Weeden recalled his first meeting Staubach back in the spring.
“I don’t think I’m on [a first-name basis] yet,” Weeden said, per Drew Davison of the Star-Telegram. “I was very lucky. Had an awesome chat for about two hours. One of the cooler experiences I’ve ever been a part of. I wish I could have videotaped it or something … it had a lot of very good points.

“He had a lot of really good information for me and Russell and it was really a cool experience.”
