Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant to have MRI on right knee

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will have an MRI on his right knee after suffering the injury in Sunday's night game against the Chicago Bears.

Bryant was injured on the second play of the Cowboys' 31–17 victory over the Bears after being tackled by Bears linebacker Christian Jones. He missed a few plays but returned later in the quarter. Bryant finished with three catches for 40 yards and one touchdown against Chicago.

"We feel OK," Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said. "We're going to do some other things, too. But right here, yes. Right now, we're fine. We'll give it another look-see with the MRI. Let's just see how the MRI goes. We've got what we've seen in here, and that's not something I would be alarmed about."

Bryant missed seven games last season because of foot and ankle injuries.

Bryant, 27, has 11 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown for Dallas (2–1) this season.

The Cowboys take on the 49ers in San Francisco on Sunday.
