Daily Dawg Tags: The Browns are headed to London in 2017
Spanning the virtual globe to bring you the latest news about the Cleveland Browns and the NFL – these are your Daily Dawg Tags for Wednesday, Dec. 14.
If any Cleveland Browns fans ever wanted to see London and the Browns in one trip, 2017 is the perfect chance to do just that. The Browns will be headed to London next season, playing what will be deemed a home game, even though it will be across an ocean.
The loss of a home game has some fans upset, but the recent attendance at FirstEnergy Stadium seems to justify the move. And with a winless season within sight, 2017 does not appear to be much better for the Browns, thus signaling more light crowds.
It is something that is frustrating right now, but the anger should die down once next season rolls around. The worst part is the fact the game will likely be played early in the morning, which still doesn’t make any sense. Taking away a home game is one thing, but playing it early on a Sunday morning is just cruel.
The news gave fans a break from thinking about the 0-13 record, although the thoughts will start up again as this Sunday’s game in Buffalo approaches. The likelihood of winning seems slim, but leave it to the Browns to pull of a surprise victory. At least one can hope.
While the conversation surrounding the Browns continues to focus on a game in another continent in 2017, let’s take a look at the news surrounding the Browns and the rest of the NFL in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
