Dallas Cowboys jersey sales are blowing away the competition
The Dallas Cowboys are one of the NFL’s most popular franchises despite being hated by so many outside of Texas. They haven’t been the most successful team in recent years and they’re as polarizing as any, but the Cowboys sell. There’s no doubt about that.
The NFLPA released info on jersey sales from the first quarter of the NFL year (March 1 to May 31), and Dallas’ stars absolutely dominate the list. Four of the five top-selling jerseys are Cowboys players, including Ezekiel Elliott, who wasn’t even drafted until April 28. In fact, Elliott leads the NFL in jersey sales since the draft.

There’s plenty of talk about the Cowboys having a new “Triplets” once again, much like Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin, and fans seem to think so, too. Add in Jason Witten (No. 5) and Dallas has one of the most exciting teams in football. The fifth and final Cowboy to make the list is Sean Lee at No. 38.
Unsurprisingly, the Seahawks also have several players on the list. Russell Wilson is the first (No. 6), followed by Richard Sherman (No. 17), Jimmy Graham (No. 25), Kam Chancellor (No. 39) and second-year wideout Tyler Lockett (No. 45).
After Elliott, Carson Wentz is the second rookie (No. 9) on the list, followed by Jared Goff (No. 14). What is somewhat shocking is that Teddy Bridgewater (No. 44) sold more jerseys than Adrian Peterson (No. 48) in that span. Also, Joe Haden (No. 42) is the only Browns player to make the list.
