Denver Broncos Re-Sign Shiloh Keo, Waive Kyle Peko
The Denver Broncos have made a roster move today by first waiving DL Kyle Peko and bringing back safety Shiloh Keo to take his place.
Well, that certainly did not last very long for Shiloh Keo.
Just three days after he was released from the suspension list, the Broncos have brought back the former safety. Keo was the player who tweeted to Wade Phillips last season asking for a job and ultimately got one.
As @MikeKlis first reported, Broncos have agreed to terms with safety Shiloh Keo.

However, the return of Shiloh Keo came at a cost to another player on the defense. Kyle Peko, who was an interesting surprise during training camp in my opinion, was waived to make room.
This move surprises me a bit. When I wrote last weekend about Shiloh Keo being released, I said that I would not be surprised if he came back at some point during the season due to his knowledge of the system.

However, I seriously believe that the Broncos need help at the tight end or the offensive line. With Virgil Green and Donald Stephenson banged up, it would make the most sense.
Then again, it appears as if Justin Simmons is a bit banged up as well, so the depth at safety is much needed if he is not able to go on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
In those circumstances, the move then makes a lot of sense. Justin Simmons is dealing with a injury that could keep him out possibly. Having a player like Keo that knows the system will benefit the Denver Broncos.
Shiloh Keo completed his two game suspension for a DUI incident back in February on Monday and was free to sign with any team. It only took him one day to be back in the NFL.
There is no doubt that Keo could be a solid player for the No Fly Zone defense. He made a few plays last season that warrants him a shot to get some snaps on the defensive side of the ball.
However, his coverage is questionable. Hopefully he is able to work on that and help the Broncos the rest of the way this season.
As for Kyle Peko, if the Broncos believe he can be a solid player, I see them making room for him on the practice squad. But we will not know if they do until tomorrow.
