Derek Carr gives each Raiders offensive lineman 55-inch television
By David Kenyon
Not only is Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr a rising star at his position, he’s an excellent giver of Christmas gifts.
Raiders intern Eddie Paskal shared what the second-year gunslinger bought for each of the team’s offensive linemen.
Lots of happy o-linemen in the house today. DC bought them all 55" flat screens. #Raiders

Carr was likely in an especially giving kind of mood after Oakland knocked off the division rival and potential AFC-leading Denver Broncos 15-12 at Mile High Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Raiders allowed three sacks, but considering the caliber of Denver’s pass rush, that wasn’t so bad.
Overall this season, Oakland’s opponents have only registered 21 sacks and 47 quarterback hits, which are ranked fourth and second in the NFL, respectively.
Left tackle Donald Penn, left guard Gabe Jackson and center Rodney Hudson highlight what could become one of the league’s best units. If the franchise drafts well or picks up another standout free agent like Hudson, Carr will be well-protected for years to come.
If Carr and the Raiders continue progressing — they’ve improved from three wins in 2014 to six victories with three games remaining in 2015 — those new televisions will show more favorable Oakland highlights in future seasons.
