Dez Bryant: Ezekiel Elliott will rush for 2,000 yards

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant believes teammate Ezekiel Elliott will rush for 2,000 yards in his rookie season, he tells the Fort-Worth Star Telegraph.

“Yeah, I believe it. Two thousand or more. That's my prediction,” Bryant said.

Eric Dickerson holds the rookie rushing yards record of 1,808 yards in 1983. Elliott has 703 yards in six games with five touchdowns. Only Dickerson had more rushing yards in his first six games with 787 yards.

In order for Elliott to meet Bryant's prediction, the former Ohio State running back would need to average 129.7 yards in the last 10 games. Elliott has now rushed for 130 or more yards in four straight games.

Elliott finished Sunday's 30–16 win over the Dallas Cowboys with 157 yards.
