Dolphins activate WR Parker from PUP, timetable remains unchanged
The Miami Dolphins activated first-round wide receiver DeVante Parker from the physically unable to perform list on Wednesday.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, it's more of a procedural move for the Dolphins, as it doesn't change Parker's timetable to return.
#Dolphins take first rounder DeVante Parker and Don Jones off the PUP today. Its more procedural than anything, timetable doesn’t change

Parker is on track to be ready for Week 1 after undergoing foot surgery in June. He'll bring a big boost to an already strong receiver group in Miami, joining Greg Jennings, Kenny Stills, and Jarvis Landry.
The Dolphins also removed safety Don Jones from the PUP list on Wednesday. Neither are expected to practice just yet, but it does allow both Jones and Parker to participate in team activities.
On Monday, head coach Joe Philbin told reporters that he remains optimistic that Parker will be able to play in a preseason game at some point. Removing him from the PUP list is the first step towards that happening.
