Dolphins first-round pick Laremy Tunsil inactive after suffering pregame injury
Ryan Tannehill will have to watch his back on Sunday – even more so than he has in recent weeks. That’s because the Miami Dolphins will be without their starting left tackle and left guard on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
Earlier in the week, left tackle Branden Albert was expected to play Sunday. Laremy Tunsil was also planning to start, but neither will be out there protecting Tannehill. Tunsil was a late scratch after suffering an injury in pregame warmups.
According to multiple reports, Tunsil injured his ankle, though no other details have been provided as of now.
The first-round pick had started all four games up to this point, playing left guard to allow Albert to remain at tackle. With Albert out, the Dolphins likely would have turned to Tunsil, but that’s obviously not possible with him being a surprise scratch.
Billy Turner will start at LT against the Titans, as both Branden Albert and Lamery Tunsil are inactive.https://t.co/SZAawUFI8O
