According to a simulation game played on Madden NFL 17, for the Dolphins vs Jets Week 15 matchup, Gang Green are set to continue depressing their fans with a 49-14 Loss.

The popular football video game, Madden NFL 17, has been predicting NFL games for a while now. Sometimes they are accurate, sometimes they aren’t. In a simulation game for the Dolphins vs Jets Week 15 matchup, the video game predicts the Jets will lose 49-14.

The game started off as a back-and-forth feel-out process with two failed drives. However, the Dolphins eventually ended up with the first score of the game when veteran running back, Jay Ajayi scored on a short run into the endzone.

After two drives ended in punts for each team, Dolphins’ cornerback, Bobby McCain intercepted young quarterback Bryce Petty on a missed pass to rookie Robby Anderson. While this looked bad for the Jets, they were able to force a fumble from veteran backup, Matt Moore, which was recovered by linebacker David Harris for a 98-yard touchdown. This tied the game, 7-7.

The next successful drive went in the Dolphins’ favor when Moore threw a short pass to Dolphins star, Jarvis Landry, which he took for a 52-yard touchdown. This made the score 14-7. The Jets had another drive after that, but it ended in another punt.

On the next drive for Miami, Moore was able to throw a wide open pass to his tight end, Dion Sims, who basically just walked in for the touchdown. A sight the Jets had to see multiple times in their Week 13 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The Jets next drive again ended with a punt.

The next drive ended successfully for the Dolphins, but there was one minor setback. After rushing for 66 yards and a touchdown, Jay Ajayi walked off the field with an apparent elbow injury which left him out for a quarter and a half.

The Dolphins scored on this drive with a pass in the end zone to Landry, making it 28-7, Miami. This was the last score of the first half.

The first drive of the second half actually looked promising for the Jets. Until their Week 13 star, Bilal Powell fumbled the ball in the red zone. The fumble was recovered by the Miami Dolphins, and they scored on that next offensive possession with a 38 yard run by young buck, Kenyan Drake. This made the score 35-7.

The next succesful drive was a wide open touchdown catch by Jarvis Landry, giving him his third touchdown of the night. The Dolphins now lead 42-7.

The next Jets drive ended again with a punt. Ajayi would come back from his injury in the fourth, and finish out his game with 124 rushing yards and a touchdown. This drive ended in a touchdown run by backup running back, Damien Williams, which made it 49-7.

More from The Jet Press

Just when it looked like the Jets would finish the game with no points for the offense, Petty threw a 62 yard pass to young wide receiver, Quincy Enunwa, making it 49-14. This would be the final score.

The simulation’s most valuable player was probably Matt Moore. He threw for 432 yards, four touchdowns, and an 84.2 percent completion percentage. Landry was definitely a close second.

On the Jets side, the best of the bad was probably Quincy Enunwa. If they had better play calling, he could have been a key factor in this game. I would have given it to David Harris, but when a defense gives up 49 points, I can’t give a defender the MVP.

Now, keep in mind that Madden doesn’t always correctly predict these games. However, with the season the Jets are having, a score like this isn’t improbable. Lets just hope for the best.
