Eagles injuries: Darren Sproles out against Ravens with concussion

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 3:13 p.m. ET

Many Eagles players are banged up going into Sunday’s tilt against the Baltimore Ravens.

It’s the home stretch of the regular season and teams across the league are ailing, including the Philadelphia Eagles.

When the Eagles travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens, they will do so without running back Darren Sproles. Sproles was concussed by Redskins defensive back Deshazor Everett in Sunday’s 27-22 loss to Washington. Everett has since been fined for his hit on Sproles, along with his illegal block on tight end Brent Celek.

Speaking of Celek, he, along with Allen Barbre (hamstring), Dorial Green-Beckham (abdomen), Kamu Grugier-Hill (illness) and Jordan Matthews (ankle), are listed as questionable for Sunday’s contest in Baltimore.

With Celek questionable and Jon Dorenbos out for the season with a broken wrist, the Eagles signed Rick Lovato to handle duties as long snapper. Lovato played his college ball at Old Dominion University and became the first ODU alum to play in a regular season NFL game when he started at long snapper for the Green Bay Packers against the Arizona Cardinals last season.
