Eagles vs Ravens: How To Watch, Radio Call, Odds, Final Thoughts, Prediction
You can catch Sunday afternoon’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens from M&T Bank Stadium on television, radio and online, and we’ve got the information on how you can do so.
When the NFL schedule was released, this is one of those games that you may have circled. Then, off to the right, you probably penciled in the letter “L”. This one had the potential to be disastrous months ago. A few months later, not much has been shown by the Philadelphia Eagles to lead you to believe that those doubts were inaccurate.
Sunday, in their final road game of 2016 (time sure has flown by), they meet the Baltimore Ravens. The Eagles limp into this one with key pieces missing and several guys on the roster who weren’t a part of the active roster a month ago. The Ravens, on the other hand, seem to be getting healthy at the right time, and their quarterback, Joe Flacco, is starting to look like the guy that earned that mega deal in the first place.
Here’s how you can access Sunday’s game:
Date: Sunday, December 18th
Start Time: 1:00 PM EST
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Venue: M&T Bank Stadium
TV: Fox, NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV
Online Stream: NFL Game Pass (available to watch online after midnight)
The Eagles showed last week that this team has some life left as they battled their way to a close loss to the Washington Redskins. They’ll need to top that effort this week. Unfortunately, it’s hard to imagine how they’ll do so. Judging by how they’ve looked in their last six road contests, they’ll be lucky if this one is close.
One bright spot in the 2016 season has been quarterback Carson Wentz. The rookie has weathered the storm, survived a head on collision with the “rookie wall” and grown with each game.
He recently spoke with the Philadelphia media in preparation for this one:
The game will be aired on Fox and on 94-WIP FM. The radio call will be handled by the legendary Merrill Reese with Mike Quick handling the color commentary. The worst case scenario is another blowout. The best case scenario is all too familiar. The Eagles will have the ball late with a chance to win. Something will go wrong, and the drive will stall. We’ve got the Ravens in this one.
Line & Prediction: Odds: Baltimore (-5.5) per MGM Mirage, Prediction: Eagles 16, Ravens 27
