Evaluating first-round pick Vic Beasley's contract details

The Atlanta Falcons have signed their top pick, Vic Beasley. That much, we already know. What we didn't know too much about were the actual numbers involved in Beasley's contract. Now, thanks to Vaughn McClure of ESPN, we have more insight as to how the numbers break down.

As McClure explains, Beasley's deal is a four-year contract that has a fifth-year option. "Beasley's contract is a fully guaranteed $14,495,228, including a signing bonus of $8,801,984."

When you look at the full breakdown, you'll find that the base salary and roster bonus increases each season. As for his his prorated signing bonus, that will be spread out evenly across the four years of his deal.
