Ezekiel Elliott Pulls Off Another Stunning Hurdle (Video)

Even if you don’t think Ezekiel Elliott is the best running back in the NFL, you have to admit that the Dallas Cowboys rookie has the cleanest hurdles in the league.

A week after dismantling the Pittsburgh Steelers defense with over 200 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns, Dallas Cowboys Rookie of the Year shoe-in Ezekiel Elliott was back on the highlight reel.

Against the Baltimore Ravens, Elliott churned out 51 yards and 10 carries through the first two quarters and the start of the third. But his hurdle stole the show from his continued efficiency on the ground.

Elliott didn’t get the first down, but he came close on first-and-10, leaping over veteran cornerback Jerraud Powers for a solid gain.

There’s no doubt that Elliott is a sensational runner in between the tackles, but it is easy to forget how dangerous he can be in the passing game. He made his presence felt as a receiver against the Steelers, and he did a nice job on this passing play by making the catch in the flat and picking up extra yards after the catch with that hurdle.

The Cowboys finished off the drive in style, taking a 17-10 lead with Dak Prescott’s second touchdown pass of the day. After hitting up slot man Cole Beasley for six earlier, Prescott went back to his top target Dez Bryant for the short pick-up. Bryant led the team for the game with five receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown at that point, picking up where he left off after a big performance against the Steelers in Week 10.

Elliott is must-watch TV whenever he takes the field, and I’m sure he’ll have a few more jaw-dropping hurdles in him as the season continues.
