Falcons creatively use 'Madden 17' to sidestep NFL social media policy
The NFL has restricted teams’ social media personnel from posting in-game highlights, leaving some organizations to get very creative.
The Eagles and Browns went really old school last week, using a decades-old tabletop electric football game to reenact the in-game action.
Well, if that’s too analog for the younger crowd, the Atlanta Falcons decided to go digital in Week 7.
Atlanta used “Madden 17” to give a replay of sorts for Julio Jones’ highlights.
With how lifelike video games have become, this could be the go-to option for teams.
