Fantasy Football Start or Sit Week 12: WR Quincy Enunwa
Heading into Week 12 Fantasy Football action, owners would be wise to sit wide receiver Quincy Enunwa against the New England Patriots.
Unfortunately for the New York Jets, they return to MetLife Stadium after their bye week to face a familiar villain. That’s right, they welcome the New England Patriots to MetLife Stadium for another AFC East clash. How worried should fantasy football owners be in considering to start wide receiver Quincy Enunwa?
Problem is, not only have the Jets been terrible all season long, Ryan Fitzpatrick is back in as their starting quarterback. That pretty much tells you what kind of scenario the Jets are setting themselves up for come Sunday. Enunwa is a product of his quarterback and well, it’s been a dire situation all season long.
Fantasy football owners should sit Enunwa this week since he won’t amount to much of anything. The Patriots are on a quest towards another championship and are playing solid, all-around football. Their pass defense will completely make Fitzpatrick’s day a living nightmare.
In Weeks 9 and 10, Enunwa only totaled 32 receiving yards, two receptions, and zero touchdowns. Needless to say, whether it’s Fitzpatrick or quarterback Bryce Petty, Enunwa has regressed over the past few weeks.

It’s not anything against him or his skill-set, but again, Enunwa can only go as far as his quarterback will take him. In this case, the interception-prone Fitzpatrick isn’t going to have any magic anytime soon.
Fantasy football owners should hit the waiver wire for a last-minute replacement if need be or simply stick to their other wide receivers on the bench. At the end of it all, Enunwa is going to put up another dud of a performance in Week 12.
