Fantasy Football Start or Sit Week 4: WR Quincy Enunwa

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

Heading into Week 4 Fantasy Football action, wide receiver Quincy Enunwa of the New York Jets will rise to the occasion against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Football owners last week that owned any members of the New York Jets probably went on a purge with their lineups. It was a horrific week for the Jets that suffered an embarrassing loss to the Kansas City Chiefs that saw quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick commit six interceptions.

This week, the Jets have a contest against the Seattle Seahawks and their infamous “Legion of Boom” defensive secondary. They hit hard, play fast, and will look to have another field day against Fitzpatrick, who seemed rattled last week.

All hope is not lost, however, as the Jets will do their very best to come out the gates playing fundamental football. It’s no secret this team is built to win now as last week was a gut check.

It’s time the Jets go back to what works and well, put their offensive playmakers in a position to succeed. With wide receivers, Brandon Marshall (questionable) and Eric Decker (out) in Week 4, expect to see Quincy Enunwa put on a clinic against the Seahawks.

Enunwa has been a pleasant surprise so far for the Jets, don’t let last week fool you, he’s a star on the rise.

So far this season, Enunwa has totaled 183 receiving yards, 17 receptions, and one touchdown.

He’s yet to have a breakout game and this could very well be it as he’s the next man up in the Jets’ receiving corps.

It’s his time to shine as fantasy owners should consider using Enunwa as either their WR2 or at the very least, a flex option.

This will be a true test for the Jets as they try to find their identity this week. It’s all about executing and going back to basics. Emphasizing their running game and using the solid skill-set of Enunwa in various ways should help them keep those chains moving.

Overall, start Enunwa this week as he’s one of the very few players you can trust to deliver on the Jets. Fitzpatrick will see a lesser workload but make no mistake about it, he’ll be targeting Enunwa constantly throughout this matchup.
