First look at the upcoming Week 15 matchup between the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers.

The Oakland Raiders travel to Oakland South, better known as San Diego, to take on the Chargers in Week 15 of the 2016 NFL Season.

The Raiders will have had plenty of time to mull their defeat at the hands of the Chiefs by the time they take on San Diego this Sunday. They beat the Chargers two months ago — 34-31 in Oakland — during their first matchup.

Here is a first look at the Week 15 rematch.

Two Teams with Different AgendasThe Raiders are in the race for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, while the Chargers are all but mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. The Chargers would have to win out and also have nearly half of the AFC  lose out in order to make it into the playoffs, so we’ll see how this team responds to adversity on Sunday.Oakland, on the other hand, could clinch their first playoff berth since 2002 with a win.

Raiders Streaking on the ChargersDerek Carr has not lost to the Chargers since his rookie season. The Raiders have won three straight games in the series, since getting swept in 2014.But they have all been close, one possession games, so the Silver & Black better not be overlooking their division rivals.

Sad Diego Adding to Injury ListThe Chargers this season, like many teams, have been bitten by the injury bug. Their injury report grew longer this week, with their starting running back and defensive end being added to the list.Melvin Gordon hurt his hip and Joey Bosa left their last game with a neck strain. Gordon is not expected to play vs. the Raiders, but Bosa is.

How do the Raiders bounce back after the loss? The last time the Raiders lost a game, in their first meeting with the Chiefs, they went on to win six straight. So there is no reason to worry right? I’m not so sure. The Raiders are still lamenting their lost opportunity, some five days after that Thursday loss in KC. A fast start to Sunday will help get them back on track.More from Just Blog BabyBears Claim Former Oakland Raiders OT Matt McCants18h agoOakland Raiders workout a QB, a WR, and a LB18h agoDel Rio on Mario Edwards Jr.: “We should get him on the field this week.”19h agoJack Del Rio on Marquette King: “He cannot have another penalty.”20h agoChiefs workout former Oakland Raiders LB Miles Burris20h agoThis article originally appeared on
