Former New England Patriots defensive lineman Ron Brace died Saturday at the age of 29.

Brace, a 6-foot-3, 330-pound tackle was selected by the Patriots in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Boston College. He played in 39 NFL games with New England before injury struggles led to his release in 2012. He signed with the Redskins in 2013, but was released before the start of the regular season.
