Indianapolis Colts running back Frank Gore vented his frustration following his team's 30-24 Week 17 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, calling 2015 the toughest season of his 11-year career.

Gore, who signed with the Colts after 10 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, started all 16 games, finishing with 967 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. The 32-year-old also surpassed the 12,000-yard mark for his career with his 19-carry, 76-yard performance against the Titans.

Afterward. though, he was in a less than celebratory mood when reflecting on the season.

"This was the toughest season of my career," Gore told reporters. "A lot of f***** up stuff."

Gore and veteran wide receiver Andre Johnson were the major additions to what was supposed to be a Super Bowl-caliber roster. Instead, the Colts struggled early and dealt with a series of significant injuries, most notably to star quarterback Andrew Luck, who missed eight games, including the last six.

Indianapolis finished 8-8 and missed the postseason for the first time since 2011.
