Video highlights of the Oakland Raiders regular season opener versus the New Orleans Saints.
On the opening drive of the game, the Raiders defense came up huge. Bruce Irvin, who had a quiet preseason, got things started with a sack-fumble on Drew Brees. Jihad Ward came up with the recovery.

Amari Cooper made two big plays on one drive, and the first one was all about that YAC.

Those two plays setup this touchdown run by Latavius Murray, who finished the carry with authority. This was nice to see.

The highlight of the game for the Raiders, at least in my opinion, was this run by Derek Carr. It was amazing and also scary, as Carr leaped a defender for a first-down.

Highlight plays slowed down a bit as the offense stalled and the defense couldn’t get a stop, but Jalen Richard changed that. 75-yards to the house for his first career touchdown.

Oakland was down by two points, and needed a two-point conversion to tie the game. Amari Cooper delivered.

Once again down seven points, it was score a touchdown or go home with an L. Carr led the team downfield, and Seth Roberts, like he has done several times in the past, caught a late touchdown pass.

Instead of going for the PAT and the tie, Del Rio opted to go for the two-point conversion and the win.
Michael Crabtree pulled down the fade-route, giving the Raiders a one-point lead.

The Saints marched downfield and had a chance to win the game, but a 61-yard field goal went wide left.
1-0. Just Win, Baby.
