The police say there was “nothing suspicious” about the death of the eight-time Pro Bowl selection. He finished his career with 58 sacks, including a career-high 14 when he was the 1992 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Kennedy, the third overall pick in the 1990 NFL Draft, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.
