Houston kicker Bullock first to miss PAT from new distance

The NFL wanted to make extra-point attempts more difficult for kickers this season, and it didn't take long into Week 1 to see they accomplished their goal.

Texans kicker Randy Bullock became the first to miss from the new distance, when he missed his second-quarter attempt in Houston's game against the Kansas City Chiefs wide right.

Last season, kickers converted 99 percent of point-after attempts. A new rule passed in the offseason moved the line of scrimmage for extra point tries from the two-yard-line, back to the 15. The decision is expected to increase the number of two-point conversion attempts this season.
