Jaguars misspell Prince Amukamara on jersey (Video)
The Jaguars take another loss, but this time, it involves the misspelling of Prince Amukamara’s name.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have had a tough year on the football field in 2016. This Sunday, their struggles were clear on more than just the gridiron.
In a Week 6 showdown between Chicago and Jacksonville while teams are looking to get back on the winning track, one thing stood out while they two teams were squaring off. Newly acquired cornerback Prince Amukamara’s name was spelled wrong on his jersey.

Spelling Amukamara isn’t the easiest thing in the world to achieve, but overall, it’s still a humiliating feat. While Amukamara is in line with names in sports such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Mike Krzyzewski, Niklas Hjalmarsson, and Ndamukong Suh that are exasperating to spell, the latest incident hasn’t emerged.
So far in his career, he has yet to live up to the lofty draft expectations as the New York Giants drafted him nineteenth overall the first round over defensive players such as Justin Houston, Cameron Heyward, and Richard Sherman.
As Amukamara is attempting to resurrect his career after a sputtering start, maybe the misspelling was a message from Jacksonville to motivate him to have a better output on the field.
