Jaguars RB Chris Ivory inactive after being admitted to hospital with medical issue
The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without running back Chris Ivory against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but it’s not because of the calf injury he’s been dealing with.
Ivory was admitted to a hospital with a “general medical issue” that is unrelated to his calf and has been ruled out, per Jaguars senior manager of public relations Tad Dickman.

Obviously this is a surprise and was completely unexpected as Ivory was previously supposed to play despite the calf injury. With Ivory out on Sunday, T.J. Yeldon will get the start against the Packers.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Ivory will be reevaluated later in the week and his status for the team’s second game will hinge on what’s revealed.

Ivory is in his first season with the Jaguars after rushing for 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns with the Jets in 2015.
