Jaguars rookie Jalen Ramsey has bought a crazy number of shoes since the draft

Jalen Ramsey is going into the 2016 season as a prime candidate to win Defensive Rookie of the Year. The fifth overall pick in the draft is set to star in Jacksonville’s secondary with his freakish athleticism and swagger at cornerback as he makes the transition from college to the NFL.

It’s not just on the field where Ramsey is making adjustments. His life has changed off of it, too.

Since being drafted by the Jaguars back in April, Ramsey has spoiled himself. Not with fancy meals or a mansion, but with shoes.

He revealed to GQ just how many pairs he’s purchased since making it big.

Ramsey appears to be spending his money on shoes, because he’s certainly not blowing it on fancy meals. He sent out a hilarious tweet last month of his “dinner,” which generated a few laughs from his fellow players.

It did result in some free food, though.

Ramsey has yet to make his NFL debut after sitting out the Jaguars' preseason opener.
