Jaguars still undecided on starting corner opposite Colvin
As the Jaguars got back to work with their first padded practice after the bye, head coach Gus Bradley said the team is still unsure who will start at cornerback Sunday against the Jets opposite Aaron Colvin.
Davon House started the first six games of the season, before being benched in Jacksonville's win over the Bills in favor of Dwayne Gratz. However, Gratz struggled against the Bills as well, leaving his status as starter moving forward uncertain.
Per the team's official website, House, Gratz and Demetrius McCray rotated at the position at practice on Wednesday. Bradley said he wants a chance to evaluate all three before naming a starter.
“I’d like to come up with a decision as soon as possible to let that be known, but I think we want to play it out a little bit as well,” Bradley said.
House lost his starting job after allowing DeAndre Hopkins to score two fourth-quarter touchdowns in Houston's Oct. 18 win over the Jaguars.
