Jaguars WR Hurns undergoes sports hernia surgery
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns is on the mend after having surgery Tuesday to repair a sports hernia.
Hurns checked in on Twitter before surgery and then offered an update after the procedure was over.

The second-year receiver played through the injury much of the season, but it didn't seem to hamper his effectiveness. In 15 games, Hurns caught 64 passes for 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns. The lone game he missed was due to a concussion suffered in Jacksonville's Nov. 29 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
Considering how productive he was while injured, it will be interesting to see what kind of numbers Hurns can put up when healthy in 2016.
