Jaguars WR Robinson holds his own against Revis

Going up against one of the NFL's top corners in Jets star Darrelle Revis, Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson still managed to make an impact in Jacksonville's 28-23 loss to New York on Sunday.

Robinson, who was defended by the six-time Pro Bowler the entire game, caught six passes for 121 yards on the afternoon, including receptions of 44 and 33 yards.

“This was the biggest challenge since I’ve been in the league,” Robinson said, per the Florida Times-Union. “Going against him every snap, he’s a hell of a player. You’re not going to get completely open on him, but when the ball is in the air I tried to get in position to make a play.”

With fellow receiver Allen Robinson catching five passes for 122 yards and a touchdown, Robinson and Hurns became the first pair of Jacksonville wideouts to top 120 yards in the same game.

“They’re definitely two special players,” Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles said of Robinson and Hurns. “They’re smart, hard-working, athletic players. They wanted this as bad as anyone in this locker room. I have a lot of trust in those guys. We’ve built up a lot of trust and chemistry over the last year and a half that we’ve been together and it will only continue to grow and get better.”
