Jameis Winston says he hasn't seen his Heisman Trophy since 2013
We all saw Jameis Winston win the Heisman in 2013, but if you ask him where the iconic trophy currently resides, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is not exactly sure.
Winston said on "The Dan Patrick Show" on Tuesday that he knows his dad has the trophy, but the former Florida State star has no idea where his dad is keeping it.
"My dad has it somewhere," said Winston, who became the youngest Heisman winner at age 19 in 2013 after leading the Seminoles to an undefeated season and a BCS title. "When I left New York, that was probably the last time I've seen it other than in the cases at Florida State. My dad has really took that off my hands.
"I have no idea where he has it."
Winston's dad might have more trophies to hide from his son in the future if the 22-year-old can build off his Week 1 performance, in which he threw four touchdowns in beating the Falcons.
