Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston settled a civil lawsuit with the woman who accused him of rape while they attended Florida State, according to court documents obtained by the Tallahassee Democrat on Wednesday.

The lawsuit stems from a 2012 incident that Winston’s accuser, Erica Kinsman, described as a rape. No charges were filed against the former Florida State star by the state’s attorney’s office after an investigation. Winston, who denied the allegations, said he had consensual sex with Kinsman.

Kinsman said that she was intoxicated at a Tallahassee bar when Winston raped her at an apartment. Kinsman, who has spoken publicly about her case, sued Winston in April of 2015 for sexual battery, assault and false imprisonment.

The case was scheduled to begin April 3 in U.S. District Court in Orlando.

Florida State settled the Title IX lawsuit Kinsman filed against the university for $950,000 in January.
