Jeff Fisher gets crushed on Twitter after horrific shutout loss to 49ers
During the most recent season of HBO's "Hard Knocks," Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher memorably (and colorfully) railed against not settling for a 7-9 or 8-8 season, which has become a regular occurrence for Jeff Fisher-coached teams. "I know what I'm doing" Fisher told the players. "We had some 7-9 b*****t this morning."
There is still lots of time for the Rams to right the ship after an embarrassing 28-0 loss to the 49ers on Monday night in which they managed only 10 first downs. The Kansas City Chiefs proved that after falling to 1-5 last year before winning 10 straight to make the playoffs. Still, the Rams are in a brutally tough division and their choices at quarterback are Case Keenum or their rookie, Jared Goff, neither of whom will have the safety of a good offensive line or wide receiver corps.
Of course, maybe the problem is Jeff Fisher. Take it away, folks.
Either Jeff Fisher is the worst coach ever or Jared Goff is a bust.

Or both. https://t.co/isSROcVaCs
Fully expect the #Rams to announce a 5-year contract extension for Jeff Fisher today. It's just how they roll.

LOL. The road to mediocrity remains paved by Jeff Fisher and Rex Ryan https://t.co/0Uk3iVdg3G
