Jets G Willie Colon has sprained knee, out 'at least a week'
New York Jets guard Willie Colon was carted off the field on Sunday with a knee injury. It appeared to be serious as Colon was unable to get to the locker room under his own power, but the injury isn't season-ending.
Todd Bowles announced on Monday that Colon suffered a sprained knee and is out "at least a week."
Colon has already been ruled out for Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins, as Brian Winters will get the start in his place. Winters struggled on Sunday after replacing Colon, allowing a quarterback pressure that ultimately led to an interception for Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Colon beat out Winters in training camp for the starting spot at right guard, and his veteran presence will be sorely missed on the offensive line. It's unclear how long he will be out.
