Jets' Robby Anderson will play against Broncos

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) Robby Anderson is ready to go for the New York Jets.

The second-year wide receiver fully participated in practice a day after tweaking a hamstring and will play Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

''He was full today and looked good, so that's all we can go by,'' coach Todd Bowles said Friday.

Anderson showed no ill effects from the injury that limited him Thursday. He was a full participant Wednesday, but was on the team's initial injury report with the hamstring issue and tweaked it a day later.

It's great news for the Jets, who have seen Anderson emerge as a big-time playmaker in his second NFL season. He has 49 catches for a team-leading 821 yards and seven touchdowns. His streak of five consecutive games with at least one touchdown ended last Sunday against Kansas City, but he and Jermaine Kearse are the first wide receiver duo in team history to each have 100 yards receiving in consecutive games since Don Maynard and George Sauer in 1967.

''We just go out there and work every day,'' Kearse said earlier in the week. ''We try to push each other whether he's trying to push me or I'm trying to push him. We're real competitive out there.''

Backup linebacker Bruce Carter (groin) is the only player ruled out. Running back Matt Forte (knee) and right guard Brian Winters (abdomen, ankle) are questionable but expected to play.

Starting middle linebacker Demario Davis was excused from practice for personal reasons and will not travel with the team Friday. He is expected to rejoin his teammates in Denver and play Sunday.

NOTES: The Jets activated CB Jeremy Clark from the reserve/non-football injury list and waived CB Robert Nelson. Clark was the team's sixth-round draft pick out of Michigan this year. He tore a knee ligament in the Wolverines' fourth game last season and began practicing with the Jets late last month. ... New York signed former Bears and Ravens RB Jeremy Langford to the practice squad and placed WR Tre McBride on the practice squad/injured list.
