Jon Dorenbos placed on injured reserve, will miss rest of season
Jon Dorenbos has been placed on injured reserve.
Lovable Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl long snapper Jon Dorenbos is done for the year.
Dorenbos broke his wrist against the Washington Redskins Sunday, leading to the carousel of long snappers the Eagles used in the game’s second half.
Not only are the Eagles losing their two-time Pro Bowl long snapper, but Dorenbos will also be forced to end his incredible ironman streak. Prior to his injury, Dorenbos has played in 162 straight games, not having missed a contest since 2006. That’s pretty incredible.
Dorenbos has become a fan favorite in Philadelphia thanks to his fun-loving personality, which also got him to the finals of America’s got Talent. As it turns out, Dorenbos is a first class magician and his tricks will absolutely blow your mind.
The Eagles signed Dorenbos to a three-year $3.395 million contract in November, keeping him in Philadelphia through 2019.
